Overview
What Faelith is, which surfaces exist, and how they share one account.
Faelith is an agentic coding platform built around two model families, Echo and Horizon, and four surfaces that share one account, one set of keys and one usage budget:
| Surface | What it is | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Code | The coding agent: reads, edits and tests your repository | CLI and desktop app |
| Chat | A general assistant with web search and file attachments | Desktop app and this website |
| CLI | faelith, a single static binary for macOS, Linux, WSL and Windows | Download |
| API | OpenAI-compatible HTTP gateway for your own software | The gateway URL shown under API Keys |
How the pieces fit#
- Account — created on this website. Holds your plan, wallet and keys.
- Keys — issued per purpose (
code, chat, api). See Authentication. - Plans — a subscription unlocks rolling 5-hour and weekly meters for Code and Chat. The API is prepaid and debits the wallet. See Usage.
- Models —
echoandhorizon, both with a 1M-token context window. See Echo and Horizon.
Where to go next#
- Quickstart — install the CLI or app and run your first task in two minutes.
- Chat Completions — call the API from your own code.
- Skills, Agents, MCP servers and Plugins — extend the agent.
- Data handling — ZDR inference and Faelith's encrypted S3 capture.
